Parade and Birthday Party October 6, 2013 at 1PMThe 225th Anniversary of the Town of Claverack including the hamlets of Claverack, Hollowville, Martindale, Mellenville, Churchtown and the Village of Philmont mark the anniversary of the formation of the town with a parade and celebratory gathering on Sunday October 6, 2013 stepping off at 1:00PM Main Street Philmont.
An old fashioned celebration is planned immediately following at the Claverack Town Park Philmont to include: homemade birthday cake, coffee, tea and cold beverages. Music is provided by Head West, the well known home grown country western band playing a wide variety of music for dancing and sing along. A community wide gathering for all ages is planned. All are invited to participate.

Town of Claverack Celebrates 225 Years

A limited number of these easy-off bumper stickers are available now at the Town Office Building at 91 Church Street in Mellenville. A variety of activities are planned in conjunction with the town's birthday in the months ahead, including parades, readings, concerts and other events. A list of these events continue to be updated here on the Town's website, www.townofclaverack.com.
