Located in an 8 Room Historic Guesthouse in Philmont (formerly the "Vanderbilt House Hotel" now under new ownership and completely redesigned). Vanderbilt Lakeside has a Chef-Driven Modern American food menu featuring local ingredients whenever possible, an intimate dining room with a full bar focusing on signature craft cocktails, boutique wines, craft and local beers, plus lakeside dining on a 2 tier outdoor deck overlooking an expansive lawn with wildflowers, mature Maples and Evergreens. Two additional outdoor areas complete with lounge chairs & chimineas next to the outdoor bar, or adirondack chairs surrounding a lakeside firepit, are both available for all guests to enjoy. Inside, in addition to seated dinner service in The Dining Room, guests also have the option to grab a drink and relax in The Game Room (lounge seating, lake views, Shuffleboard table, board games; plus Cable TV and Bluetooth Speaker for overnight guests to enjoy even after the restaurant is closed). Included also for overnight guests is a fresh, locally sourced Continental Style Breakfast, along with access to a Guest Pantry (also featuring local goodies) during hours that the restaurant is closed. All rooms feature 100% cotton bedding by Brooklinen, natural & organic bath amenities by 2Note Hudson, individually controlled thermostat for heat & AC, wifi throughout the property, and for select rooms, a shared 400 SF upper balcony. Dinner is served Tuesdays - Saturdays 6pm - 10pm, Sundays 6pm - 9pm (closed on Mondays for the time being). Dinner Reservations are accepted for parties of 6 or more.
