Claverack is served by two public school districts depending on your location:

Claverack Youth Program

Winter:

The Town of Claverack organizes a Winter Snowsports Program (snowboarding or skiing) for six Saturdays beginning in early January each year at Catamount Ski Resort. Claverack youth age 8 and older may participate and have the physical ability to ride any on-mountain lift with instruction.

The 2017 program begins on Saturday, January 7, 2017, and runs every Saturday through February 11, 2017. (Make-up dates February 25 and March 4). The program includes transportation, lift tickets, lessons and rentals; you choose what you want. The bus leaves the Claverack School at 8:00 a.m.and returns at 2:30 p.m (departing Catamount at 2 pm). Sign-ups for this discounted program are now open and end November 1, 2016. Sign-up forms and prices are available by clicking here or at the town office at 91 Church Street (open M-F 9 am-3 pm). All participants, including those that use the bus transportation only, must fill out the waiver form. Please contact Lauren Bell at the town office (672-7911) or bell@townofclaverack.com for more information.

Summer: The Town of Claverack offers a six-week recreational program for school-age residents through age 16 at the Town Park located on Church Street. The 2016 program will operate from July 5 to August 12. Applications for the summer program are available here.
