K.I.S.S. Program Is Back!

Keeping Identities of Seniors Safe program bins will be available at the Claverack Town Hall, 91 Church Street, Mellenville, NY from Monday, November 28th through Friday, December 9th during normal business hours of Monday – Friday, 9:00am-3:00pm.

Claverack Winter 2023 Snowsports Program

The Town of Claverack organizes a Winter Snowsports Program (snowboarding or skiing) for six Saturdays beginning in early January each year at Catamount Ski Resort. Why Does Claverack Have a Historian?

In 1919 New York became the only state to legislate the position of Public Historian. On April 11, 1919, Governor Al Smith signed, ” Historian’s Law”, 57.07, mandating the position.
